Beetles[2] will be the first minor enemies encountered in Little Nightmares III. They will be encountered in The Necropolis chapter and will be the main antagonistic faction of said chapter.

Appearances

Beetles appear to be oversized rhinoceros beetles, particularly Hercules beetles based on the appearances of jaw-like horns and brownish-yellow elytras.

Little Nightmares III

TBA

Strategy

Beetles attack by flying in the air and attempting to land on the protagonists. In order to defeat them, Low must shoot them out of the air with his bow. After doing this, Alone will need to finish them off with her wrench. If she fails, the beetle will get back up and continue its attack.

Trivia

  • The beetles appear to be based on the cut moths enemies from Little Nightmares II.
  • Beetleeggs

A tunnel filled with objects presumed to be beetle eggs. They get destroyed when stepped on.

The many small, spherical objects seen throughout the Necropolis could possibly be their eggs.
