*The canonical status of this comic series has been highly controversial in the ''Little Nightmares'' community since their initial release.<ref>https://www.reddit.com/r/LittleNightmares/comments/167an3v/little_nightmares_titan_comics/</ref> Whether or not this series is truly canonical to the franchise has never been confirmed by the series developers.
*Initially, four issues were planned. However Issues #3 and #4 were cancelled after the release of Issue #2, leaving the fates of many of the introduced characters uncertain.
*Besides Six, the Narrator of the comics never tells the names of any of the other children she encounters.
*When questioned what parts of the comics could be used in decoding the mysteries of the ''Little Nightmares'' world, the writers state, "I think we alluded to this in the second comic. Children's memories aren't always reliable, but then...neither are narrators", leaving the suspicion that the children and the Narrator of the comics were not all what they seemed.
