The Candy Factory[1] or just The Factory is one of the areas Low and Alone will pass through in Little Nightmares III.
Website Description
"The production lines never sleep. In a metal tomb untouched by daylight, the blind machines of the Candy Factory eternally rumble and growl, mashing ingredients into colorful slurries, then spinning them into glossy, twisted treats. Sticky delights destined for the welcoming lips of a ravenous public. Nestled deep between the conveyor belts and hissing pipes that feed the guts of the factory, there lies a nexus of information. A tangled collection of glassy screens blinking and flickering without end, drawing the watcher’s attention towards anything that might seem out of place. Everything under control."
-Official Bandai Namco website[2]
Description
Not much is known about the factory's exterior, let alone if the protagonists will explore it or not. Based on the mass number of lollipops, candy canes and other sweets littered around the factory, this factory in particular is occupied in producing various sweets instantaneously from machines, with one section of the factory devoted entirely to making just lollipops. The factory's interior is primarily messy and cluttered with various broken and unused objects. Red sludge can be seen leaking out from pipes or flooding around the floors. Numerous barrels filled with the same red sludge are scattered throughout various locations within the factory.
The poor sanitary condition of the factory results in tiny bugs scattering about, in which the safest method to travel by is with a power cell, its light forcing the bugs to scatter away.

Theories
- The red sludge seen around the Candy Factory is speculated to be used in the production of various sweets, with the sweetness attracting the bugs.
- The thickness of the clots of red sludge scattered throughout the factory and passed through large pipes, has raised question if the sludge is made of a sugary substance alone or something else.
- Parts of the Candy Factory have piles of dentures on the floor, which is speculated to also be included in the factory production line, either manufactured by the factory as an individual product or used for the production of candies.
