The Dwellers

The Dwellers^[1] are a group of background characters from Little Nightmares III. They were the former inhabitants of the Necropolis before it was rampaged by Monster Baby, who turned many of them into stone.

Appearance

The Dwellers appear to be an entirely deceased species of giant humanoids. Some Dwellers appear to have been turned to stone with chunks of their bodies missing. Dwellers that have been turned to stone appear to be middle aged and bald. They often appear to be wearing long scarves and skirts. Dwellers that have been turned to stone often appear to be cowering in fear, covering parts of their bodies in an attempt to protect themselves. Some Dwellers also appear as corpses wrapped in bags and tied with rope.

An arm sticking out from underneath the rubble reveals some inhabitants managed to avoid being turned to stone, but met a tragic end nonetheless as Monster Baby continued to destroy their homes, with them still inside.
