— A Merchant

The Merchants[1] are minor characters that appeared in the second chapter of the audio-fiction series, The Sounds of Nightmares. They operated the many shops in the seaside town located in front of the Bathhouse.

Personalities

Due to their limited presence, little to nothing is known of the Merchant's personalities other than their dedication to helping the Bathers to cleanse themselves in order to ease their pain.

The Sounds of Nightmares

A Penance at the Bathhouse

Noone first mentioned the Merchants when talking about how the Bathers would break off from the group to enter their many stores.

Noone first witnessed a Merchant in a shop's window shortly after Jester was taken. In a raspy voice, he asked one of the Bathers what they had come to his shop in search for. The Attendee responded that he was seeking out suds to cleanse his profound skin, and in response the Merchant gave him a bottle of pink liquid. He reassured that his product would ease the customers pain.
