The Puppet^[1] is a minor antagonist that appears in the sixth chapter of The Sounds of Nightmares.

Appearance

Noone details the Puppet with rusty shears sticking through his torso, pinning him down. He has a wide face painted with a wide down-turned mouth, sagging cheeks, and glimmering black eyes. Twine with frayed edges dangle from his only arm. His clothes are rough-worn, similar to the Carnival People from Rusty's show.

The Lonely Way

Noone described seeing the Puppet by a table in the Clothing Room amongst spools of thread, needles, and ribbon. After describing his appearance, she leaned in to get a closer look. He then sprung to life and grabbed her leg. He continued to yank while she struggled to break free. Although she kicked him, he held a tight grip on her ankle. She eventually reached for a bottle and smashed it on his head, which caused him to let go and stop moving.

Soon after this, the Perfect Lady entered the room and spotted the Puppet surrounded by shattered glass.

Trivia

When describing the blades that held the puppet down to the table, Noone details that she could almost feel them herself.
Any additional details of the Puppet remain unknown as Noone was never able to finish her retelling.
