The Third Chef

The Third Chef (unofficial name) is a scrapped character from Little Nightmares. He was originally intended to be encountered alongside The Twin Chefs in The Kitchen.

Appearance

The Third Chef appears to look similar to his twin counterparts. He appears to be a giant grotesque humanoid who wears a tall chefs hat, apron, and other chef-related attire. His have appears to consist of a smile resembling that of a smirk, and he appears to have an abnormally large chin.

Little Nightmares

The Third Chef only made one physical appearance in one of the early beta trailers for Little Nightmares, then known as Hunger. In this trailer, he can be seen loudly chopping food at his station. He was also seen in a portrait located in the Janitor's lair.

Although he did not make a physical appearance in the final game, his portrait can be seen hung throughout the Maw.

Trivia

The decision to remove the third chef was most likely made by the time the game was announced at Gamescom 2016. This is evidenced by only the Twin Chefs appearing in costume at the event. In addition, the gameplay at the event featured their bedroom, the design being based around the twins.
