Descent to Nowhere[]
Issue 3[]
After Windsor introduces himself to Myra, the woman recognizes his last name, remembering a kid who disappeared from the Counties the previous year. Myra asks how can he be here, but Windsor clarifies it was his twin brother Winston who disappeared, not him.
After Myra confirms she was an officer, she asks if her job role was why Windsor kept checking for her at the hall. Windsor states that he was not looking out for her, rather, he checks the hall whenever he hears noise to see if Winston was trying to find a way home. Myra decides to ask Windsor about Winston, and the boy agrees.
Windsor explains that after their mother passed away and was buried, Winston started suffering from body tantrums, but neither Windsor nor their dad knew how to help him. His body fits gradually worsened, as if he had worms in his brain. Bedtime was described as the worst part. 'Cause sleep was when the night terrors came. Remembering that's what the doctor at the Copy called them. One night, Windsor heard Winston scream, but after checking all over the room, he realized that Winston had vanished, the only sign of him remaining being the stain of sweat on his bed.
Noticing Windsor becoming distressed, Myra tries to calm him down before asking him if Winston ever talked about his night terrors. Windsor claims that Winston had told him about a giant with a melted face who followed him in his head. This gives Myra chills across the back of her neck. When discussing the Dream Giant with Marion, Myra says she has seen the same figure, and concludes that it's no coincidence that she, Winston and Hush all saw the same figure like Marion concluded.
After Myra and Marion enter Floor -1 of the Copy, they find various children kept in terrible conditions, some chained up, some biting themselves, and one asking for their mother. Marion enters and ask if any of them are Hush or Winston, though Myra already knows they're not.
